Flames win shootout over Devils


Monahan, Michael Frolik, Michael Stone and Micheal Ferland got Calgary's regulation-time goals. The Flames (8-6-0) have won three straight to start a seven-game homestand. New Jersey tied it 4-4 at 11:11 when Greene scored his first of the season, beating a partially-screened Smith on a long shot inside the post. Gregg Popovich passes Phil Jackson on all-time wins list


Popovich has been the head coach of the Spurs since December 10, 1996. The five-time National Basketball Association champion doesn't seem like he's slowing down, however, so maybe he sticks around, long enough to get another 180 wins. Whether Popovich does or doesn't achieve a spot in the top two, he'll still go down as one of the NBA's greatest coaches. James Harden put up an absurd 56 points against the Jazz


Harden was 19-of-25 shooting, including 7-of-8 from 3-point range. While Harden did finish the game with seven turnovers, Utah had no answers for the six-time All Star. He also recorded 13 assists, accounting for a total of 91 points. Harden made his first 10 shots from the floor. Senators acquire Duchene in three-team deal


TSN's Darren Dreger is now reporting Senators goaltender Andrew Hammond is part of the trade. According to the Colorado broadcast, the Avalanche will receive prospects Samuel Girard and Vladislav Kamenev from the Predators. Reports surfaced Sunday evening around 6:30pm ET after Duchene was pulled from tonight's game against the New York Islanders . Altidore got between Giovinco and Adams to keep Toronto's star goal scorer (Giovinco, not Altidore) from getting into an altercation.
