Papayas from Mexico recalled by the FDA after salmonella outbreak


One death has been reported, and 35 people have been hospitalized. An additional strain of salmonella tied to Maradol papayas imported from Mexico has also been discovered, the CDC reported. Restaurants should dispose of and not serve any remaining Maradol papayas.
