Grass fire in Vallejo burns 'multiple' homes


Vallejo Fire tweeted out that the fire was progressing from eastbound I-80 in Sonoma to Glen Cove. Four homes on Barington Drive at Bayhurst Drive were minimally affected by the fire. The City of Vallejo activated its Emergency Operations Center during the fire. Firefighters from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Fairfield, Cordelia, Vacaville, Benicia, Crockett and American Canyon, along with air units, responded to the four-alarm fire, the city announced.
