Syrian FM: No global force for Syria safe zones


Syria's foreign minister says there will be no global forces under United Nations supervision as part of a deal struck by Russia, Iran and Turkey last week on setting up four safe zones in Syria. Ahmad al-Masalmeh, who is based in the southern province of Daraa that borders Jordan, said there were six breaches in the province when government forces shelled opposition-held areas.
