Sheriff: Gunman kills Ohio police chief, 2 nursing home workers

Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp says the suspected gunman was also found dead Friday. It's unknown where the nursing home employees were found. Police received an initial call about a man in the street with a firearm. It is unclear how the shooter gained access to the building, which was usually secured, Thorp said at the news conference. Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp says the gunman took two passers-by hostage behind the nursing home in a wooded area Friday.
