California woman who left daughter at zoo surrenders


Witnesses reported that a short time later the woman pushed her 5-year-old daughter out of the stationary vehicle, causing the child to land on the concrete. Portland stabbings suspect targets victim in outburst

Coast Guard searching for owner of paddle board found in OBX


The Coast Guard had been using a 47-foot motor lifeboat and an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter to look for the man until the search was suspended at 7:19 a.m. A body was not recovered, according to Boatswain's Mate First Class Kevin Kramer of the Massachusetts Coast Guard. Blast at Indian fireworks factory triggers deadly blaze
