Fire razes Davao mall


The fire was said to have started at the four-storey NCCC Mall on Saturday morning and people were trapped inside, including at a call centre on the top floor, a police officer in the district, Ralph Canoy, said. He said the reason for the blaze was not immediately known. Keppel O&M to pay US$422m in fines to settle bribery probe

Police say teens tossed sandbag from highway overpass, killing man


Police say four teenagers intentionally threw the sandbag of the Indiana Avenue overpass onto I-75. They found the auto on the side of the interstate and Byrd suffering from a head injury. Two taken to hospital after home explodes in Leeds suburb


Police are now investigating the cause of the explosion, with neighbours to the Silk Mill Drive home describing the scene as "like a war zone". "All the roof was in the road, when the fire brigade came they had to drive over it". The 28-year veteran added: 'I have never seen or experienced anything like that before'.
