RCom to sell DTH unit to Veecon Media and Television

Shares of Reliance Communications ( RCom ) dropped to their all-time low on Monday after asset management company Brookfield Infrastructure called off its $200 mn deal with Reliance Communications on Saturday. It had earlier stated that the lenders would convert part of their debt to equity to gain 51 per cent control of the company. Nearly two in three British firms will have implemented Brexit contingency plans by March if Britain and the rest of the European Union have not struck a transitional deal by then, a leading British employers group said. Government urged to restore confidence in diesel as demand falls

Mike Hawes, chief executive of the SMMT, said that a lack of clarity around the Government's policy on diesel vehicles was largely to blame for the slump. The industry body said vehicle registrations dropped 12.2% year-on-year to 158,192 last month - the second double-digit decline this year.
