NSW shark attack victim escapes with minor injuries

A social media image of Birubi Beach, where the surfer was attacked by a shark on Saturday. The shark was believed to have bitten the surfer on the foot, according to Surf Life Saving NSW spokeswoman Donna Wishart. Birubi Beach has since been closed to the public and will remain off limits until further notice. 14 killed, 15 injured in bus accident in Central Nepal


Police suspect the death toll could rise further. According to police, most of the deceased are from Saptari district. It is learnt 15 passengers managed to save their life by swimming to the river bank.
