$6 million in rewards announced following Tynong North and Frankston murders


Police hope the six $A1 million rewards will help them find the person responsible for the murders of the women killed in what was known at the time as the Tynong North murders. Police said they had spoken to more than 2000 people over the murders and a number of persons of interest were identified. About 2pm on 6 December, 1980 a group of men were dumping animal remains in scrub near a quarry off Brew Road, Tynong North when he came across human remains and reported the matter to police. The Indian Banks' Association (IBA) has questioned the jurisdiction of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in issuing directions to banks under the Aadhaar Act, according to news reports. The petition filed by activist Dr. Kalyani Menon Sen has challenged Rule 2 (b) of the Prevention of Money-laundering (Maintenance of Records) Second Amendment Rules, 2017, which states mandatory submission of Aadhaar while opening bank accounts. Four injured after wild boars rampage through German town

Munich police in manhunt for knife attacker


Appealing for the public's co-operation, police in the city tweeted: "Warning: Avoid #Rosenheimerplatz". Police say they are searching for a suspect who was "wearing gray pants, green training jacket, [with a] backpack and sleeping mat". Several people have reportedly been stabbed but their injures are not said to be life-threatening at this stage. Licence of auto driver who blocked way of ambulance suspended
