He is learnt to have left Dhaka for Australia to meet his daughter. Justice Abdul Wahhab Miah, senior-most judge of the Appellate Division, was appointed the acting Chief Justice . Arrest at LaGuardia Airport temporarily disrupts travel


The suspect was quickly taken into custody. The NYPD bomb squad was on scene, and no injuries have been reported. Hurricane Ophelia to batter North East with 70mph winds


The core of Hurricane Ophelia was forecast to pass south of the Azores Saturday evening (Oct. 14) as the storm headed toward Ireland on Monday, the National Hurricane Center reported. The tropical storm is now making its way across the Atlantic Ocean as a category 1 hurricane with winds of up to 100mph. Kobe Steel announces more cases of faked inspections data


The company announced that re are more inaccurate data available in 9 types of products. "So far we have not identified any suppliers that procure materials from Kobe Steel for parts fitted on our aircraft", a spokesman said. The latest problems were discovered with shipments of more than 11,000 tons of steel, copper, and aluminum products made by Kobe Steel and its affiliates in Japan, China, Malaysia and Thailand, the company said. The Boeing 777 completed a safe emergency landing at Adelaide airport, over 12,000km from the intended destination.
