Police officer injured in vehicle accident, shooting in Miami Beach


The officer sustained head injuries but is in stable condition. "All of the sudden she like starts the auto and runs over the policeman", a witness said. The officer who fired shots is on administrative leave pending an investigation, something the department said is protocol. Convicted rapist awarded joint custody , victim's lawyer says


Since his conviction for the rape in 2008, Mirasolo, from Brown City, Michigan, has been convicted of another child sex assault, for which he served four years in prison. Mirasalo was 18 when raped, impregnated and threatened to kill the victim in September 2008. 28-Yr-Old Man Charged After Allegedly Snatching Baby From Sydney Hospital


Police used CCTV to locate the child, who was in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The baby was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run with her grandmother, mother and father shortly before allegedly being stashed in the pram. The baby was located at a medical centre in Blacktown and is now in the care of another government agency. Air NZ testing internet access on long-haul flights

The airline is rolling out Wi-Fi capability across its global fleet, beginning with the 777-300s, with more offering the service over the next couple of months.
