Winnipeg police officer stabbed and taken to hospital in unstable condition


They say a member of their tactical support team was stabbed in the upper body, causing a serious injury. Murray went on to say that the 35-year-old officer was transported to hospital where he remains in critical condition. Volcano on Bali grows more active: Thousands evacuated

Military plane crashes in Italy air show


Sadly the pilot, Captain Gabriele Orlandi, failed to eject from the aircraft before the collision. The rest of the Terracina Air Show - which was to have featured Italy's famed Frecce Tricolore squad - was cancelled. The Air Force stated the jet belonged to the its Test Flight Department, and crashed after entering the final phase of the flight schedule. North Koreans Marched in Support For Kim Jong Un Attacking Donald Trump


China on Friday denied media reports that it has ordered its banks to not open new transactions with North Korea as part of efforts to intensify sanctions against the country's continued provocations. The statement did not name any specific weapons systems.
