China's exports weaken in August while imports accelerate


Exports rose 5.5 percent year-on-year, the customs administration said, down from a 7.2 percent increase in the previous month and missing a Bloomberg News forecast of 6.0 percent. Putin opposes military action against North Korea

Militants attack police near Rajnath's scheduled meeting venue; one policeman killed


One militant was killed in the encounter who was identified as Shahid Ahmad Sheikh @Shabir, district commander of HM, resident of Kachloo Qaziabad, Handwara. The security forces had earlier on Monday killed two terrorists while taking action on intelligence inputs.
