1 dead in JC police shooting

JCPD and the Geary County Sheriff's Office responded to the Walmart parking lot where they located a male armed with two handguns on the sidewalk north of the parking lot. No law enforcement officers were hurt in the exchange, the KBI said. The Junction City Post reports from the Junction City Police Department's public information officer that the KBI has been called in to assist in investigating the fatal shooting that happened overnight. A man killed his own sister and her husband-to-be as they went to register their marriage at a Pakistan court, police yesterday, in the country's latest so-called honour killing. ITC launching investigation into Apple over Qualcomm's allegations of patent infringement
