4 charged in fraternity pledge hazing death to plead guilty


The four defendants, Kenny Kwan, Charles Lai, Raymond Lam and Sheldon Wong, had been charged with third-degree murder, but pleaded guilty to felony manslaughter and hindering apprehension charges. Sentencing for the four who pleaded guilty Monday is scheduled for December 4. Another 33 members of the fraternity were arrested in the case and the fraternity itself is expected to go on trial in November, but Monday's hearing was seen as a big step forward in the case. Homes being evacuated after wind-whipped fire reported in Bisbee


The size of the fire is unknown. Capas says the main concern is that the fire is on a hill and the wind could cause the fire to spread through the surrounding grassy area quickly.
