Alaska unemployment rate edges up for June

The state Office of Employment and Training says the unemployment rate fell in 20 counties during that period and stayed the same in four counties. Woodford County recorded the lowest jobless rate in the Commonwealth at 3.8 percent. Northern Kentucky counties have seen a slight increase in unemployment, year over year, and from May 2017 to June 2017. Search continues for young woman who fell over Wallace Falls

Crews were called to the popular 5.6-mile trail near Gold Bar Wednesday afternoon to try and locate her, but had to suspend the search when night fell. "...
