Cardinals make roster room for Wong, Siegrist


Wong is back from the DL for the second time this season. The club sent infielder Alex Mejia and right-hander Luke Weaver to Triple-A Memphis on Sunday to make room for the veterans on the 25-man roster. This season, the left-hander is 1-1 with a 4.94 ERA (27.1 IP, 15 ER), one save and 25 strikeouts in 31 games. People evacuated as huge sinkhole swallows homes in Florida


The size of the hole is increasing, according to Tobin. As of 8:23 a.m., the sinkhole expanded and reached the roadway. Dramatic footage shows the roof breaking off from one of the homes and getting swallowed up into the ground. 11-year-old New Jersey girl reported missing is found dead


The Monmouth County prosecutor has charged Andreas Erazo with murder in the death of Abbiegail Smith . The little girl's body was found in what police are describing as a large container, officials told WABC . The 11-year-old girl was found dead on the grounds of the complex around 10.45am Thursday. State trooper killed in western Pennsylvania crash


At least one person is dead in a crash that involves a state police vehicle in Ligonier in eastern Westmoreland County. The other trooper's injuries were not considered life-threatening.
