A suspected Taiwanese drug smuggler has been shot dead by Indonesian cops


Police said the drugs were valued 1.5 trillion rupiah (about 112.3 million USA dollars), to be distributed in Jakarta . It followed a tipoff from Taiwanese police about a large shipment of drugs, police spokesman Argo Yuwono said. The detainees could be sentenced to death if being convicted of drug smuggling.
