Police said a 21-year-old female was shot in the head, while a 29-year-old woman was shot in the back. The gunfire erupted behind a Gates Ave. building that is part of the Stuyvesant Gardens Houses at 9:30 p.m., authorities said. A nearby bodega worker told the NY Post , "I heard five shots".
