Naresh Chandra, India's former ambassador to United States, dies at 82


Shekhar Salkar, head of Clinical Services at Manipal Hospital, and added that Mr. Chandra had been a diabetic and had suffered a cardiac arrest. Chandra (82) died due to multiple organ failure. He used to be a frequent visitor to Goa and stayed with his nieces, one at Nerul and another one at Parra, in north coastal Goa. Roseville PD: Man fatally shoots dog that attacked his

It was about 10:30 a.m. Sunday when Roseville police responded to a report of a dog attack on the 26000 block of Lehner. A 52-year-old man had been walking his dog, "a mastiff-type breed", on a leash. The man told police he first tried to fight off the dog, then he pulled out his gun, shooting the dog twice.
