Innogy cuts value of lossmaking United Kingdom retail arm npower by $560 mln


Innogy has announced a £428 million writedown on the value of its United Kingdom energy supply business Npower as it grapples with increased regulatory pressure, including plans for a domestic energy price cap. Plagued by fierce competition and billing issues for years, npower reported a nine-month adjusted loss before interest and tax of 102 million euros, wider than the 81 million euro loss a year earlier. Airport evacuated in Orlando after battery explodes near security gate

L&T Q2 net jumps 32 per cent to Rs 2020 cr
