Sensex gains 106 points on firm Asian cues


At 9.25 a.m., the 30-share BSE index Sensex was up 106.04 points or 0.33 per cent at 32,030.45 and the 50-share NSE index Nifty was up 29.5 points or 0.29 per cent at 10,046.45. Japan's Nikkei was up 0.22 per cent and Shanghai Composite rose 0.23 per cent in their early trading. Emirates cuts Auckland flights as part of renewed Qantas partnership


Emirates will codeshare on the additional flights, but adds that it will place its focus on its daily nonstop services from Dubai to Auckland. Some of these services will be upgraded from a Boeing 737 to a wide-body A330 aircraft. The Australian carrier was keen to emphasise that the rerouting would not adversely affect Emirates or the carriers' relationship, with Qantas passengers still able to transit through Dubai by flying on Emirates planes.
