Amazon's new 'Instant Pickup' service promises items in two minutes or less


After placing an order, customers can pick it up from a self-service locker. Now the lockers are used by customers to pick up regular Amazon Prime packages and drop off returns. Its Instant Pickup program targets another laggard: impulse buys. US Retail Sales Climb More Than Expected In July

Costco Owes Tiffany's $19 Million for Counterfeit Rings


In a statement late Monday, Costco made it clear it would appeal the decision, arguing that it used the word "Tiffany" as a description of a widely recognized solitaire cut ring. From a purchaser list of approximately 2,500, Tiffany identified fewer than 10 who said they had misunderstood Costco's signage". LoveFilm postal DVD rentals service is shutting down, confirms Amazon


Amazon is shutting down Lovefilm by Post six years after acquisition. The email states that users of Lovefilm By Post - the service bought by Amazon back in 2011 - will no longer be able to rent DVDs and Blu-rays from 31 October. One wrote: 'upset LoveFilm is closing.
