US housing starts fell 2.6 percent in April


Economists had expected housing starts to climb to a rate of 1.260 million from the 1.215 million originally reported for the previous month. Homebuilding increased 0.7 per cent on a year-on-year basis. "So Mother Nature had a hand in this".
