Three men detained after easyJet flight diverted to Cologne

The unidentified passenger said police gathered on the tarmac to deal with a "security situation" on board. Sterling 'falls off cliff' after exit poll shock

But having slid to as low as $1.2636 in early European trade, sterling was at $1.2740, apparently taking some support from news that Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party will back May's Conservatives in forming a government. Versus the euro, the pound also fell more than 1.1% to 1.13 euros, to levels not seen since January. Iran has sent five planes of food to Qatar

State media reported late Saturday Doha would "not take any measures against residents of Qatar who hold the nationalities of countries that severed diplomatic ties... "So far five planes carrying perishable food items such as fruit and vegetables have been sent to Qatar , each carrying around 90 tonnes of cargo, while another plane will be sent today", Iran Air spokesman Shahrokh Noushabadi told AFP .
