October is domestic violence awareness month


DVACK will use the grant funding to implement an economic abuse education curriculum to help survivors of domestic violence achieve financial stability. In 2016, DVACK served 1,128 victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking, of which 464 were children. There were 73 domestic violence-related deaths a year ago - 57 victims, 14 perpetrators who then committed suicide, and two perpetrators killed by responding law enforcement. Lire la suite »
