In addition, Microsoft Research also launched a new project that's aimed at creating bots to work in healthcare environments.

"As the pace of digital transformation picks up in 2018, we recognise that many customers prefer to evolve gradually by first moving to a hybrid cloud environment before fully embracing the public cloud".

"Microsoft's original mission in the 1990s was to put a PC on every desk and in every home". Addressing a gathering of media and analysts at Microsoft Campus in Hyderabad, Telengana, Anant Maheshwari, President, Microsoft India, elaborated how in 1995 just owning a personal computer meant digital progress. "With Azure Stack, we will help our customers move forward in their preferred digital transformation path at a pace they prefer".

In the financial services sector, 10 of the 12 largest banks in India use Microsoft Cloud solutions (State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank and others). Microsoft isn't the only cloud provider on the market to offer similar services, and continuing its development of Bot Service and LUIS (which customers already began using during their preview periods) will help the tech titan compete.

Microsoft noted that the consortium is creating applications on top of Azure for near real-time cross-border remittance at near zero cost, real-time peer-to-peer transfer systems with automated reconciliation, end-to-end loan syndication process management, vendor onboarding, NDA processing, vendor rating and much more.

Throwing light on Microsoft's strategy in India, Maheshwari said that BFSI, IT/ITES, startups are some of the sectors which will lead digital transformation and create market for intelligent cloud. Top auto players like Tata Motors and Hero Motocorp also use its services.

Morgan Spurlock Admits Past Sexual Misconduct 'I am Part of the Problem'
In a tweet after his blog post, Spurlock said he was "seeking help". We took off our clothes. 'I didn't know what to do, ' he writes. I tried to comfort her. "She believed she was raped".

Microsoft also noted that it continues to add more than 100 startups every month to its BizSpark program. The company now supports 5,000 startups yearly through multiple programmes including Microsoft Accelerator.

All of these services are a part of Microsoft's broader portfolio of cloud services that are supposed to help customers take advantage of AI technology without the use of expensive domain experts.

In the education sector, Microsoft's cloud offerings are built on the foundation of the National Knowledge Network Grid(NKN) and is used by several technical institutes in India including Narsee Monjee Institute (Mumbai), FIITJEE (Chennai) and Deccan Education (Pune), among others.

The agreement provides for the creation of a Digital Projects Coordination Team, which will manage the partnership between Repsol and Microsoft, promote joint initiatives between both companies and work to identify specific business scenarios.

Microsoft India is betting big on Intelligent Cloud to power growth.
