Champion Horn 'a dirty' fighter, Corcoran taunts

12 Décembre 2017

But Gary Corcoran's camp insists a rare blunder from Buffer won't be needed as motivation ahead of Wednesday night's WBO welterweight title fight against Jeff Horn.

There have been worries that Horn wouldn't make the 147-pound limit in the lead-up to the first defence of the title he won from Manny Pacquiao in July.

"Hellraiser" Corcoran has described the fight as the "chance of a lifetime" and thinks he has what it takes to dethrone the big-punching Horn.

When the two fighters came together to pose for the cameras at a press conference on Monday, Corcoran's menacing eyes nearly bored a hole through the back of Horn's head, such is his raging hunger to take the world title home to his two-year-old daughter at their gypsy travellers' camp near London's Wembley Stadium.

Horn was joined at the weigh-in by his heavily pregnant wife Jo and said her welfare was his top priority, even more than the big fight.

For the main event, things are set to start around midday United Kingdom time.

When famed boxing ring announcer Michael Buffer is at your weigh-in, you know you've made it as a fighter. "Corcoran, pardon me", Buffer, who has trademarked his signature "Let's get ready to rumble" phrase, said. The good news for him is that presumably they will be corrected before the fight.

3 times Snapdragon 845 will change smartphones in 2018
We already came across a confirmation from Xiaomi's CEO that the forthcoming flagship, the Mi 7 will use the Snapdragon 845 SoC . And in reality, this is the only thing that will make these devices attractive when compared an Intel or AMD powered hardware.

"I think they're panicking a little bit - they know this is going to be a tough fight and they're already looking for excuses for when they lose".

The Englishman downplayed Horn's win over 11-time world champ Pacquiao, saying the Filipino great was a "shot fighter" but adding that the gruelling battle "took a lot out of Jeff".

Corcoran's co-trainer Frank Greaves infuriated Horn's camp when he said Horn was always headbutting opponents "but never gets penalised".

"He took a beating in the ninth round and I'll go on with it", Corcoran said. He is dirty. There is absolutely no question that he's dirty. Get Me Out of Here!

"I want it to be a level playing field as well".

"Let's hope Jeff can come through this one".
