MSNBC's "Morning Joe" host Mika Brzezinski said Friday that she feels "incredibly uneasy" about Sen. Brzezinski called into question the "Playboy model who goes on Hannity, voted for Trump".

"I just have an incredibly uneasy feeling about this entire story", Brzezinski said.

"Morning Joe" cohost Mika Brzezinski on Friday cast doubt on the veracity of the allegations made by one of Al Franken's sexual harassment accusers.

"In this #MeToo environment, you must always just believe the women and I think that there's a lot of reasons why we need to look at the women seriously and believe them", Brzezinski said.

She also noted that she has spoken to the accusers of former "Morning Joe" analyst Mark Halperin whose NBC contract was terminated after claims that he sexually harassed several women while at ABC News from 1997 to 2007.

Franken announced on December 7 that he plans to resign "in the coming weeks" amid pressure from his Democratic peers, notes ABC News. "I'm concerned that we are being the judge the jury and the cops here and so did Senate Democrats getting ahead of their skis", Brzezinski said.

"He came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth" after insisting upon rehearsing a skit that included a kiss, she wrote in a KABC piece.

Brzezinski found the conservative Trump voter's motives questionable and did not think that Democrats handled it well. ". I would appreciate if Democratic senators, would say the photo [of Franken] is too unsafe".

Ms. Brzezinski questioned whether "all women" should be believed outright.

Co-host and fiancée, Joe Scarborough, reminded his bride-to-be that she had previously been critical of Democrats for being "hypocrites" on alleged sexual transgressions by former President Bill Clinton.

Tweeden has appeared as a guest on Sean Hannity's radio program in the past.
