Police arrest main suspect in the murder of Yosif Al-Hasnawi

19-year-old Yosif Al-Hasnawi, who was a first-year medical science student at Brock University, was shot on December 2 after attempting to intervene as two young men accosted a senior citizen in downtown Hamilton. "This matter is now being investigated by the Hamilton Police Service Major Fraud Branch", the Hamilton Police Service said in their press release. Police continue to try to reach the account creator, he said.

A Medical Sciences student at Brock, Yosif was leaving a mosque on Saturday night when he noticed two men were accosting an elderly man. Al-Hasnawi, being remembered as a hero, stepped in to help the senior, but was shot by one of the two men.

The arrest of Dale Burningsky King, a 19-year old, was made in Hagersville Ontario around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. He has been charged with second-degree murder.

Hamilton Police have arrested Dale King wanted in the fatal shooting Monday of a city man.

Dale Burningsky King was considered armed and unsafe and had changed his appearance by cutting his hair short.

James Mattheson, 20, was arrested Monday in connection with the shooting was also charged with accessory after the fact.
