Later, he addressed the meeting of Jana Sena activists there. In Vizag, he interacted with the agitating employees of Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) and called on parents of Venkatesh, a youngster who committed suicide.

Stating that he would write a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to stop privatisation of DCI, Pawan said it was his first wish to Modi after he had supported the BJP-TDP combine in 2014 elections.

Coming out why the PRP failed, he said, "The party was founded with good intentions but my brother allowed unwanted intruders into the party and he was soon surrounded by companions who did more harm than good."Mr. Pawan Kalyan said, "I remember each and every person who was responsible for the destruction of PRP and we will teach a lesson to each one of them at the appropriate time". He also urged YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to extend his support to DCI staff.

The film actor met the family members of Venkatesh at the relay hunger strike camp of DCI employees and asked BJP and Congress MPs including Union Ministers from Andhra Pradesh to fight for ex-gratia to the family after the tragic incident.

"The downfall of BJP will begin from Visakhapatnam, if the Centre does not shelve its decision for strategic sale of DCI".

He said he was deeply hurt when he came to know about the NDA Government's decision on 100 per cent disinvestment of DCI and the suicide of Venkatesh, 28, due to fear of losing job and wondered "why the local MPs, MLAs and Ministers were in deep sleep over such a serious issue". "Whosoever does a blunder and deviates from public interest, we have to grill them", he said.
