AMD's supercharged Radeon Software Adrenaline Edition launches with a performance promise

01 Décembre 2017

AMD today announced the name of its next major annual driver update, Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition. In 2016, the company made a decision to stick with Crimson for a bit longer, launching Radeon Software Crimson Relive.

The video itself reminds us of the RX Vega teaser trailer (swooping close-up shots of a logo), and it doesn't provide any indication of the possible features of the new Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition. Now this year, AMD is going to start rolling out its next generation of Radeon Software "Adrenaline Edition". AMD will be hoping to continue that streak with Adrenalin Edition.

But here were are in 2017 with December only hours away and finally we have word on the next iteration of Radeon Software: Radeon Software Adrenelin.

Gremio top Lanus for 3rd Libertadores title
Gremio, the first Brazilian winners of the Copa Libertadores since 2013, will represent South America in the Club World Cup. Luan doubled the score after he dribbled three Lanus players and chipped the ball over Lanus goalkeeper, Esteban Andrada.

AMD has previously been known to produce keenly priced and high-performance graphics cards, only to fall short when it comes to driver support and ensuring its GPUs play nicely with new and demanding game releases. According to AMD, Radeon Software Crimson Edition (2015) received the highest user satisfaction rating of any AMD software ever, while Crimson Relive Edition maintained a 90 percent user satisfaction rating for 12 months in a row.

KitGuru Says: I've had limited experience with Crimson ReLive Edition this year, though I did use Crimson Edition heavily throughout 2016.
