'The X-Files' Season 11 Premiere Date Announced

16 Novembre 2017

In 2016, The X-Files drew an average multi-platform audience of almost 16 million viewers and was the season's No. 2 broadcast drama, as well as the most talked-about event series on Twitter. Rather Fox is dubbing it the "second chapter of The X-Files event series" for some reason. Wednesdays, starting January 3.

The truth is out there, this time it's in the form of an official The X-Files season 11 premiere date courtesy of the fine folks over at Fox. Chris Carter is the creator and executive producer of the series. Guest stars for the new episodes include Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Karin Konoval (War for the Planet of the Apes), Annabeth Gish (Mystic Pizza), Robbie Amell (The Babysitter), Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), and Barbara Hershey (Black Swan).

Meanwhile, Fox released a new preview for "9-1-1", giving viewers an idea of what to expect from the upcoming drama.

Toshiba sells electronics department to Hisense
It ranked third worldwide in TV shipments in 2015 and 2016, according to market research firms IHS Markit and WitsView. We asked Vestel to comment on the deal and its implications for the Toshiba TV brand in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Empire and Star are set to return from hiatus in March.

Murphy's "9-1-1", which he co-created with long-time producing partner Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear ("Feud", "American Horror Story"), is being promoted as a pretty straightforward procedural about cops and first responders (though FOX hasn't yet sent screeners to critics), but it's one with a top-line cast. Oliver Stark (Into The Badlands), Aisha Hinds (Shots Fired), Kenneth Choi (The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story), and Rockmond Dunbar (Prison Break) co-star. Bassett is also an executive producer.
