The film crossed the mark a week before it is set to hit theaters worldwide, as Disney premiered the film at the Morelia Film Festival and released it in Mexico three weeks ago to coincide with the Dia De Muertos celebrations, during which the film takes place.
Critics have raved over the film, giving it a 96 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, and it is heavily favored to win Pixar its ninth Best Animated Feature Oscar. His family builds shoes, but because he wants to do music he ventures out on his own and ends up in the land of the dead.
'Coco' Has Become The Highest Grossing Film in Mexico!
The latest Disney Pixar treasure is "Coco" a story about life, love and the meaning of family. This delightful look at a young boy trying to follow his dream that goes against the wishes of his family. Co-Director Adrian Molina stopped by WCL to talk about the film. It opens on November 22 in the US and November 23 in China.
