'The Assassination of Gianni Versace' Trailer For Your Wednesday Viewing Pleasure

15 Novembre 2017

Makers of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story have been teasing the new chapter of the anthology series for months now.

The footage picks up where the previously released teaser trailer left off, following Cunanan fleeing from where he had just shot and killed Gianni Versace, played by Edgar Ramirez.

Versace premieres January 17 at 10 p.m. ET on FX. "I will not allow that man, that nobody, to kill my brother twice".

Najeeb's disappearance: CBI submits status report, asks for more time
Submitted in a sealed envelop, the status report also sought some time to complete the investigation, according to sources. He added that considering the sensitive nature of the case, it would be hard for them if the media reported about it.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace features Edgar Ramirez as Gianni Versace, Penelope Cruz as his sister Donatella. His streak came to screaming peak on July 15 of that year, when he murdered Versace on the steps of the fashion designer's idyllic Miami villa (now a luxury hotel called the Villa Casa Casuarina). Cunanan would kill himself about a week later as police closed in on him. On Wednesday, we finally got an in-depth trailer.

Based on the book by Maureen Orth, the series stars Darren Criss as Cunanan, with Ricky Martin as Gianni Versace's partner Antonio D'Amico.

Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, Dan Minahan, Tom Rob Smith, Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski are executive producers of the series. It will be followed by Katrina: American Crime Story.
