Warriors Want Gregg Popovich, Not Donald Trump, To Win Election in 2020

Most recently, Kerr publicly stated that he would most definitely vote for San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich if the legendary basketball mind ever made a decision to run for office. They are also two of the most outspoken coaches when it comes to political and social issues.

Kerr and Popovich have been vocal about their displeasure with President Donald Trump. "All jokes aside. I would vote for him", Kerr said Wednesday, according to ESPN.

The Warriors were targets of Trump after the president tweeted last month that the team would not be welcome at the White House.

While the Warriors and Spurs, who often serve as the Western Conference's two best teams, have battled it out on the court over the course of the last several seasons, it appears as though Kerr and Popovich are on the same side off the court. "Those would be two really key components for any person that wants to become President".

Warriors star Stephen Curry agreed with Kerr about a Popovich candidacy, saying, "He's great for the National Basketball Association and would be even better for the country, probably".

Kerr played for Popovich during the NBA title runs of 1999 and 2003, and has a long relationship with the 68-year-old revered basketball voice.

Over 2600 Indian Sikh yatrees arrive in Lahore
Over 2,600 Sikh pilgrims from India today reached Pakistan to attend the 549th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev. The main function of the festival will be held at Nankana Sahib on November 4, where the pilgrims will perform sacred rituals.

"I've seen Popovich-Kerr stickers running around", Curry said.

"I would not be vice president", Kerr said.

"He's a great friend, but he's become one of my key mentors now that I'm coaching", Kerr said.

We're still a few years away from the next presidential election, but Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr is already making an endorsement.

For Warriors coach Steve Kerr, the goal is not to have players miss games altogether, but manage their minute when possible.
