At that point approximately 360,000 Georgia Power customers across the state remained without power, down from about 950,000 customer locations at the peak of outages Monday. As of Friday afternoon, Georgia Power is reporting just 57 customers in Clayton County were still waiting for their power to be restored. The utility has set a 10 p.m. Saturday deadline to restore power to 95 percent of its customers in the remaining major cities in Georgia, including hard-hit Savannah, Brunswick and Valdosta. "It's been a huge effort and they are working for you".

He visited parts of northeast Georgia and the coast, two of the areas hit hardest by the storm.

"Stay inside. If you see downed power lines, stay away from them". The company will regularly update the Outage Map and other customer notification resources during the remainder of the Hurricane Irma restoration process with any changes in these ERTs.
