"The idea of having a 3-year contract with a security company approved by the ICC and by FICA the aim is to ensure either and/or the ICC or other foreign teams continue to come to Pakistan", he added.
"Pakistan Government, its security agencies and the PCB put in tremendous efforts for a collective cause of resumption of worldwide cricket and ICC duly supported and acknowledged these efforts and sent its World XI to the country", he said.
Besides large number of enthusiasts who thronged the Qaddafi Stadium to see Pakistan outplaying World XI, all those who withstood the inconvenience patiently with smiling faces caused to them due to fool proof security arrangements also have surely made their contributions, directly and indirectly, towards revival of global cricket in Pakistan.
"I think Pakistan in the last two years has made tremendous strides in improving the security situation".
When asked it is a perception that the ICC favours India more than Pakistan, Richardson said it is a wrong perception.
"We are helping Pakistan to make sure that it deals with the security threats in a way which is good for the cause of cricket in the country", he said adding " Pakistan's success in the champions trophy is another reason of bringing back worldwide cricket to the country ".
"We are a peace-loving nation and really looking forward to other teams coming to Pakistan and playing here", he added. "In India's case they genuinely are a very busy country", Richardson was quoted by ESPNCricinfo as saying.

Such agencies are not just calling for monetary donations, but also volunteers. Also (I'll be) checking the food that's being served", he said.
Paul Collingwood is relishing the opportunity of playing for World XI at the age of 41.
Pakistan won the series opener on Tuesday by 20 runs, spurred by a quick-fire 86 by batsman Babar Azam before holding off a star-studded World XI batting line-up led by South African captain Faf du Plessis.
He added: "You can not ignore the political situation that is between India and Pakistan at the moment and the difficulties that might exist".
Sethi told reporters that he was grateful to Richardson for the role he had played for reviving global cricket in the country. With due course of time, global cricket matches hopefully are also going to be played at other cricket venues as well besides Lahore.
Richardson also appreciated the efforts of the security forces for providing a secure environment for playing cricket.
Richardson praised the PCB for having a very good domestic structure, which helped Pakistan survive even without having worldwide cricket at home.
ICC official said ICC is dealing with the matter of Indian refusal to play its bilateral series with Pakistan and its (ICC) committee is close to resolve this issue. "I hope with this World XI tour, they will start hosting more worldwide teams and the level of Pakistan cricket will improve further".
