Arsenal ready to off load flop midfielder Jack Wilshere

14 Septembre 2017

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has declared himself pleased with Jack Wilshere's recovery from his latest injury setback, as he prepares to hand the midfielder his first appearance of the campaign.

So, Wilshere made a decision to stay at Arsenal this summer, but is already angling for a move two weeks after the transfer window closed?

Arsenal will play their first Europa League game in 17 years when we welcome Bundesliga outfit Cologne to the Emirates on Thursday night. "Because he knows his body well, he has become very professional and learnt how much time it takes to get back to his best so he is more patient". Every game is an opportunity for him.

'But you take on every job knowing what the benefits and the shortfalls and problems are likely to be and I go into this job with open eyes, with great enthusiasm and a great energy which has certainly been boosted by the fact I've had a bit of time away from the game.

They made a strong approach to try and sign the France worldwide on loan, but Spurs were insistent they would only let him leave permanently for a big fee. "And that is coming back in training as well".

Si les autorités lient formellement ces décès à l'ouragan, le bilan officiel s'élèvera à 17 morts en Floride. Le rétablissement du courant pourrait prendre encore plusieurs semaines.

Wenger said: "There was always a huge pressure on him to come back as quickly as possible and to expect a lot".

Wilshere's hot temper has also got him in trouble in the past, including during a recent under-23 game when he was sent off for fighting with an opponent after a tough tackle.

Rehabilitation is a long and lonely process and Wenger admits he has been of little help to Wilshere since he returned to the club to see out the vital final year of his contract.

"Some just come back like nothing happened to them, some are traumatised for their whole life". "Yes", Wenger said after a moment's reflection.
