Big-ticket 'iPhone X' expected to star at Apple event

12 Septembre 2017

Together with that, today's event will also see the launch of the new Apple Watch Series 3 and the new Apple TV. On top of that, people expect Apple to announce an update to the iPhone 7 as well as a new Apple Watch with cellular capabilities.

ALL ACCESS will have coverage as it happens.

We all know what September brings: vibrant green leaves turning red, the (un) welcome return of pumpkin spice everything, and new Apple devices.

Last year, the company announced the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in predictable fashion, but so much of this year's handset announcement is uncertain. If you're more of a DIY type, you can manually adjust your browser agent settings as well, though the process is a bit more involved.

Investors will be looking at whether the new features of the iPhone 8 will justify the gadget's $1,000 price tag (which is expected to sell for about £760 in the UK), 10 years after the first iPhone was released.

That's according to Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty, which today maintained her Overweight rating on Apple, along with her price target of $182.00.

CEO Tim Cook is expected to introduce three new phones - the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

However, Gigi strutted her stuff right down the runway behind little sis Bella , just as fierce as always. You'd never know she gets nervous at all from how calmly she just handled walking in one shoe.

The iPhone X will undoubtedly be the star of the show.

Though the latest iteration of Apple's juggernaut won't formally debut until Tuesday afternoon, many of its features, including facial recognition tech, have already leaked.

In August, the company sent invitations to the press to attend the event, which takes place at the new Apple Park Headquarters at 10 am Pacific Time, which is 6 pm our time.

However, Huberty raised her bull-case price target from $203 to $253, citing the new iPhone's upcoming augmented reality component. This feature will also be key in allowing the Apple Watch to make and receive calls independent of the iPhone.

The Apple event begins at 10 a.m.in San Francisco, which is 1 p.m. EST. All eyes will be on the next-generation of the iPhone, but there are other iPhones that will likely be launched alongside as well.

A new Apple Watch and Apple TV streaming box could also be among the new products showcased by the technology giant.

Current models of the smartwatch require a connection to an iPhone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi in order to send and receive messages, emails or access online apps.
