Three people were found dead inside of the home late Friday morning.
According to police, there were domestic incidents at the home in the past.
New York State police are calling the death of three family members in Westchester County an apparent double-murder suicide, according to an official statement from the police department.
Investigators say Steven Dym, 56, killed his wife, Loretta, and his 18-year-old daughter, Caroline, before killing himself.

Caroline Dym was a student at Sacred Heart in Greenwich, where the school invited her senior classmates to meet with a priest, grief counselors, faculty, and psychologists.
The Journal News (http://lohud.us/2w4ZMPi ) says Steven Dym was CEO of a property management company. The Dyms had donated money to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Dym's mother attacked her husband Lawrence Dym with a hatchet handle in the same house in 1992 while he slept in bed, USA Today reported.
Police Chief Ryan remarked on the tragedy, "You have a young family, and two young children, and there's a surviving child".
