Laguna Beach police Sgt. Jim Cota said Wednesday that video of the alleged assault was posted to social media sites and helped detectives identify the suspect - 20-year-old Richard Losey, of Lancaster, Ohio.

Losey allegedly punched Maxwell during an "America First" rally where people participated in a vigil to remember victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Protesters against illegal immigration rallied on Sunday along the Laguna Beach shoreline at Main Beach Park where the unprovoked attack happened.

New census puts number of transgenders in Pakistan at 10418
As per the provisional results, the urban population shows a growing trend with 36.38pc of the population living in urban areas. Pakistan houses 106.45 million males, 101.31 million females and 10,418 transgenders, the provisional data revealed.

Police kept everyone safe by keeping the group separate, but a video shows Maxwell on the Antifa side trying to engage in peaceful dialogue with the group.

R.C. Maxwell, a black conservative who supports President Trump, got punched in the face Sunday night while trying to discuss his views with opponents. "I was getting lots of specific comments like you're a sellout, you're an Uncle Tom".

"If the optics were completely different and I was a Black Lives Matter supporter and I was attacked on the Trump side of the protest I would be the spotlight on CNN right now", Maxwell told Fox 11.

Losey was arrested as he was trying to buy a bus ticket to OH on Tuesday, Cota said.

"I think the fact that I'm a black conservative causes a lot of problems for the left side because there's no way they can really resolve that according to their narrative of what they think Trump supporters are, so I think that was a bit triggering to the other side", Maxwell told Fox 11.
