Speaking while signing the execution of the agreements at the presidential villa in Abuja, President Buhari described the ceremony as an important milestone in efforts by Nigeria to demonstrate its sovereign capacity to fulfill her worldwide obligations while attracting benefits in its foreign relations.

"This PDP firmly believes that opposition is no madness; it will therefore never wish ill of anybody, let alone the person saddled with the responsibility of leading our country".

In his remark, the President said: "Opposition does not mean hostility, enmity or antagonism".

According to Umahi, "In your absence VP Yemi Osinbajo demonstrated a very high level of loyalty to Nigeria and to Mr. President".

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state in his response thanked the president for his support to the states, saying: "Without the assistance, it would have been hard for us to cope".

He stated this in Abuja yesterday while reacting to the return of President Buhari from London, where he had gone on medical vacation last week. We also thank his able lieutenant, Prof.
