Taylor Swift Is Back With a New, Badass '90s Look

24 Août 2017

She is set to unveil a new single from the album Thursday night.

As the title and recent video teasers have implied, Swift's new material will likely address her public persona and confront her totally meme-able snake status. This new album will be Swift's sixth studio album.

Earlier this week, she wiped her social media accounts clean and posted a menacing-looking video of a snake, baring its teeth and poised to strike at the camera/viewer.

Colton Bradford posted: "Did y'all really think you could get away with calling Taylor Swift a snake and she would let y'all sit back and do it?"

Institutional Investors Have Increased Interest in Alibaba Group Holding Limited (NYSE:BABA)
Ativo Capital Management Llc increased Crown Holdings Inc (NYSE:CCK) stake by 6,001 shares to 58,500 valued at $3.08M in 2016Q4. Alibaba Group Holding Limited presently has an average rating of Buy and a consensus price target of $167.32.

Her lyrics are often scrutinized by eager fans for references to former flames or friends such as her relationships with singers such as John Mayer and Harry Styles and feud with fellow pop star Katy Perry.

The teasers put fans on high alert, and the snake imagery evoked snake emojis used against her in various dis-fests past year, including one with Kim Kardashian West after West claimed Swift knew about hubby Kanye's reference to Swift in his song "Famous". The addition of an extra year to that marketing algorithm intensified anticipation, and expectation, around the new music, especially considering Swift's exponential growth in profile around the world since shucking her country roots on her last album. "I made that b**** famous" but insisted Swift had approved it.

Swift was back in the news last week as she triumphed in a lawsuit against a radio DJ in Denver who she said fondled her buttocks during a routine photo opportunity in 2013.
