Curtly Ambrose's Critical Analysis Riles Up West Indies Coach

Head coach, Stuart Law, says embattled West Indies are anxious to prove their worth, after enduring a storm of criticism over their humiliating innings defeat to England in the day-night opening Test at Edgbaston last weekend.

Warwickshire all-rounder Woakes returns from a side strain picked up during the Champions Trophy, with Middlesex seamer Toby Roland-Jones making way.

England XI (confirmed): Alastair Cook, Mark Stoneman, Tom Westley, Joe Root, Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, James Anderson. He took his opportunity, he played some fantastic cricket and I see him playing a massive part for us moving forward.

Anderson has a good chance to attain the milestone during the second Test against West Indies, if he repeats his performances against Sri Lanka at the venue in May previous year during which he picked a 10-wicket haul. Earlier this summer, for example, England beat South Africa by 211 runs at Lord's in the first Test of that series in July and then lost the next match by 340 runs at Trent Bridge.

England have lost two of their past four Test matches at Headingley and still have issues in their batting line-up, with Durham's Mark Stoneman the latest player to open alongside Alastair Cook.

Noteworthy Stock to Watch For: Tiffany & Co. (TIF)
The institutional investor owned 72,500 shares of the specialty retailer's stock after selling 2,500 shares during the period. Tiffany had a ROE of 15.91% and a net profit margin of 11.26%. the firms end of quarter revenue went up.9% on a YOY basis.

"But, at the same time, if you go at it in a way that you don't respect the conditions, and you don't respect what the ball's doing, then it can be hard".

After a determined fight to get to the top, Bairstow is now one of the first names on England's team-sheet.

"We know early on it can be a little bit spicy, and if you get through those hard periods, if it's a bit cloudy and it's nipping or swinging, then it's a fantastic place to bat", he said.

West Indian bowling great Sir Curtly Ambrose was one of many to criticise the side following the first Test, describing the performance as "embarrassing and pathetic".

"We understand there's a lot of people out there who are disappointed in our performance. We are not performing as well as we want", Law said. I believe in these young men. Jermaine Blackwood was a lone beacon of hope for the visitors with the bat in the first Test, scoring 79 runs in the first innings, by far the highest score for them over both the innings', but they will need far more to even think of having a chance come Friday. "It is just the experience of learning how to play in a very tough environment", he said. We have got to make sure that our game is the best it can be and we follow up what was a really good win last week.
