Sir Bruce Forsyth dies at age 89!

He started his career in showbiz at the age of 14 with a show called Boy Bruce, the Mighty Atom and made his first television appearance as a child in 1939.

He performed throughout World War Two and travelled the United Kingdom with pantomimes and circuses where he became known for his strong-man act.

He then chose to learn to dance and later travelled around the United Kingdom with pantomimes, before a performance with the comedian Dickie Henderson in 1958 led to him being offered a job on "Sunday Night At The London Palladium".

He also wrote and sang the theme tune Life Is The Name Of The Game.

He went on to become one of Britain's best-paid TV hosts, and was known for his work on shows like The Price is Right, Play Your Cards Right and The Generation Game.

In March this year, the Radio Times reported that Forsyth had been suffering from a severe chest infection.

Bruce was loved during his time presenting the show, and viewers were heartbroken when the star stepped down due to missing a handful of episodes due to illness.

Wilnelia, from Puerto Rico, had been crowned Miss World in 1975.

But it was hard to keep the national treasure out of the spotlight.

His reoccurring health issues led to him quitting "Strictly Come Dancing", which he presented for 10 years, in 2014 because he felt it was having an affect on him.

He underwent surgery in 2015 after he suffered two aneurysms, which were discovered when tests were carried out following a fall at his Surrey home.

As tributes pour in for the star, there is one thing everyone will agree on: "Didn't he do well?!".
