Arsenal ready to make offer for unsettled PSG attacker Julian Draxler

18 Août 2017

The arrival of Neymar from Barcelona threatened to make game time even more limited for Draxler, who has a deal until 2021 at the Parc des Princes.

Julian Draxler was able to force a move away from Wolfsburg in a controversial fashion, with PSG obliging the German global in January, 2017. However, the signing of Neymar Junior from Barcelona in a £200million deal has not just raised speculation over the player's future, it has unsettled him. However, the player's official PSG shirt on the club's website is being sold for a whopping £140.00.

Already the tabloids are putting two and two together, and already the bookies have installed Liverpool as favourites to beat Arsenal-who had been linked to him earlier in the summer-to his signature.

It is rumoured that PSG will demand a fee of around £35 million for the services of Draxler, an amount Liverpool should have no qualms with matching, especially if they are set to receive upwards of £100 million for Coutinho.

The past couple of weeks have been hard to take for Barcelona supporters, with the sale of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record fee of £200 million (€222 million) being followed by a 5-1 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid in the Supercopa de Espana.

The 23-year-old versatile attacker is mainly a left winger and now that PSG have signed world class Neymar (left winger) from Barca, things are going to be complex for the Kaiser.

The Red Devils have been unable to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan and it has emerged that they are now considering Lemar.
