What this means is that the device can offer lossless zoom for up to 2.3x and will still be capable of 12x zoom with little loss in detail. But now the entirety of the lineup has finally been made official, and things are a bit wild. Asus has added two 12MP sensors at the back.
The Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Pro are the flagship devices, followed by the Zenfone Selfie and Zenfone Selfie Pro, which are mid-rangers with a focus on the front camera. The smartphone supports company's BoostMaster fast-charge technology as well. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The ZenFone 4 bears a 3300mAh battery, while the ZenFone 4 Pro bears a 3600mAh battery.
Unveiled in Taiwan earlier today, the confusing ZenFone 4 family is still without release dates and price tags, both domestically and internationally. There is a fingerprint sensor offered on the back of the phone.
The device revolves around camera photography and comes equipped with hardware specific for camera enthusiasts. And yet this is precisely what Asus is doing with both the Selfie and Selfie Pro. The main SuperPixel Camera is ideal for shooting general subjects and macro shots as close as 10cm, while the optical-zoom camera is excellent for distant subjects. The camera also features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for photos and 4K videos. The regular Selfie opts for a 20 MP shooter instead, but keeps the wide-angle option of its sibling.
For whatever reason, Asus decided not to show off the ZenFone 4 Max duo on stage, with the exception of putting them in a single slide in the beginning of the presentation.
B&Q owner reports fall in sales during second quarter
Like-for-like sales dropped 1.9 per cent to £3.1bn, which it blamed on seasonal performance at B&Q down 11 per cent. It said the poor performance would continue in the short term as Bunnings restructured the business.
"With the ZenFone series, we have always been committed to enabling the best mobile photography experiences and empowering consumers to capture every precious moment of their lives and easily share them with their loved ones", said Chairman Shih. It is backed by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery that is rated to last up to 42 days on standby.
The Asus ZenFone Zoom S boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display that has a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Zenfone 4 Pro comes with a camera that is slightly more protruding as compared to Zenfone 4.
Leaks and rumors about the Asus Zenfone 4 series aren't new to us.
Asus has now revealed the price of only four models. The titular ZenFone 4 will start from $399 Dollars, while its Pro sibling will go for at least $599. On the other hand, the Zenfone Selfie and Zenfone Selfie Pro will set you back by $279 and $379, which translate to roughly Rs 17,800 and Rs 24,300 respectively. The Indian launch of the products is unknown at the moment.
