Incredible win for the Clarets

14 Août 2017

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has accepted he may have to embed a new formation in his team if they continue to have players sent off.

Premier League champions Chelsea suffered an embarrassing home defeat on the first Saturday of the new season, having two men sent off as unfancied Burnley beat them 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.

It left Conte concerned by the inability of his players to control their emotions.

"I am not anxious", Conte said. "But our first half, we kept losing our heads".

"For sure it was a key moment because after Gary's red card we lost our composure and conceded three goals".

It can happen, this type of situation, but we must pay attention and think there is the rest of the game to try to do our best.

"Also I have to study a new formation with 10 men, because when it happens with this regularity I must be anxious".

Before then though, Dyche will be looking into bringing in new signings after a frustrating window in truth, a frustration shared by opposite number Antonio Conte. " Despite a great result, the manager still recognised some errors, citing "two soft goals we gave away" but nevertheless "a very good win is pleasing" for him".

The Eagles Announce Headlining Tour Dates
The Eagles reformed to play shows during July in Los Angeles and NY , with Frey's son Deacon and Vince Gill joining the band. The Eagles are heading out on tour with a son of founding member Glenn Frey stepping in for his late father.

"He helped us a lot and scored one goal and he played a really good game". However, it took just 10 minutes for Burnley to go ahead, courtesy of Sam Vokes.

Burnley celebrated one of the great Premier League opening-day upsets but boss Sean Dyche called for perspective when reflecting on a famous win.

'Everyone is telling us this season will be a big challenge for us.

"It's hard at this club to make massive strides, it's about shifting it forward, and this won't do us any harm at all".

There is a chance it could get worse before it gets better for the Chelsea team.

Meanwhile, Pedro, a three-time Champions League victor, also unnecessarily saw red in the Charity Shield against Arsenal too.

But that they did in heroic fashion to register an immediate away win and lay down a marker for the battles to come.
